Présence de l'Associat​ion des Anciens étudiants à la séance d'ouvertur​e du mardi 9 juillet 2013

Le 9 juillet 2013, pour la séance d’ouverture de la session d’été de droit comparé, l’université de Luxembourg  a invité l’association des anciens étudiants de la faculté internationale de droit comparé de Strasbourg.

L’association a été représentée M. Thierry Edmond, le vice-président,  M. Traore Abdoul Dali, le secrétaire général, et  Mlle Justyna CELEJ membre de l’association.

Un accueil chaleureux nous a été réservé dans une salle d’une vingtaine d’étudiants du 2° cycle et 5 étudiants du 1° cycle, les autres ayant  terminé plus tôt.

Face à ces étudiants Thierry a fait une présentation des membres  de l’association présents.

Mlle Justyna CELEJ a fait un exposé sur l’historique de l’association et les activités déjà menées par ladite association notamment : rencontres, visites à la Cour européenne des Droits de l’Homme et à la ville de Strasbourg.

M. TRAORE a présenté différentes activités de l’association : notre contribution à la promotion du droit comparé,  l’existence du blog de l'association, la publication des informations sur la Faculté internationale de droit comparé, le projet d’aide à la participation à cette formation par l’attribution d’une bourse d’un montant de 150€ au meilleur étudiant du 1° cycle et du 2° cycle adhérent de l’association.

A l’issue de cet exposé, séance tenante, l’association a enregistré l’adhésion de 4 nouveaux membres. Les échanges se  sont ensuite poursuivis chaleureusement.

M. le Professeur CUNIBERTI,  responsable de la session au Luxembourg, s’est dit satisfait de notre présence et après une présentation de l’université, nous a conviés à partager un repas au restaurant.

Rendez-vous est d’ores et déjà pris pour la prochaine session de l’université de droit comparé.

On 9 July 2013, on the occasion of its summer session on comparative law, the University of Luxembourg hosted the Association of Alumni of the International Faculty of Comparative Law in Strasbourg.

The Association was represented by its Vice-President, Mr Thierry Edmond, and its Secretary-General, Mr Traore Abdoul Dali with his colleague, Justyna Celej.

We were given a warm welcome in a room of about twenty 2nd-cycle students and five 1st-cycle students, the others having already finished theirs opening session classes.

Thierry Edmond presented to the students the members of the Association present at the meeting.

Justyna Celej gave an account of the history of the Association and its activities, including in particular meetings, visits to the court and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

Abdoul Traore Dali talked about the purpose of the association, i.e. our contribution to the promotion of comparative law by means of the association blog which provides information about the International Faculty of Comparative Law, the project supporting participation in this training through the project of awarding a grant of €150 to the best student of the 1^st and 2^ndcycle, member of the Association.

At the end of this statement, the association admitted forthwith 4 new members. Then a discussion took place with Mr Edmond.

Professor Gilles Cuniberti, in charge of the Luxembourg session, expressed his satisfaction with our presence and he invited us to share a common meal in a restaurant.
